Helena is A.M.S. certified by the American Montessori society and is an O.C.C.S. Certified Director by the State of Massachusetts, who has trained many student teachers as well as an extensive staff. Helena ran the headstart program in Sharon, Ma and worked as a subsitute teacher in the Sharon Schools.
Helena is a graduate of Mt. Ida College and took her Montessori training at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Helena has taken many additional courses in Early Childhood. She has certificates from the Society for Developmental Education in Anti-Bias curriculum and Art History for Children.
Helena has five children and ten grandchildren ranging in age from eight years to nineteen years old.
